To give away your thought is to truly forgive them, to let them go. The more who believe in them refers to the power of Oneness within, where the belief in separation does not exist. By undoing the belief in separation (the idea of the ego) you gain so much, your true Self. This is why giving and losing cannot be associated, for when you give your separate thinking up, you do not lose, instead, you gain the truth of Perfect Love which offers so much. For it takes you from being nothing to being everything. And as being and having cannot be separated, when you be more by finding the truth of wholeness within you will stop seeing lack on the level of form. Your dream life will become rich in goodness and grace as you let go of the ego nightmare of sin, guilt, and fear to welcome in the happy dream the innocent Mind delivers.
Day One
1. What is Within is Seen Without
Having & being are not separate. Being happy, this the extends outwards and you shall be happy with work, love, money, relationships, etc. If you are being sad, this projects out and you will be sad with the things you seem to experience or have in the illusion of form. You must find the truth of light within that is concealed behind the darkness of ego thinking to have the life of your dreams, not nightmare.
If you want to have happiness in your life, you simply withdraw the darkness that covers this truth that has been hidden within. When you are being happy you have happiness without. As what is within is seen without.

Chapter 7: The Gifts of The Kingdom
III. The Reality of the Kingdom
1 The Holy Spirit teaches one lesson, and applies it to all individuals in all situations. Being conflict-free, He maximizes all efforts and all results. By teaching the power of the Kingdom of God Himself, He teaches you that all power is yours. Its application does not matter. It is always maximal. Your vigilance does not establish it as yours, but it does enable you to use it always and in all ways. When I said "I am with you always," I meant it literally. I am not absent to anyone in any situation. Because I am always with you, you are the way, the truth and the life. You did not make this power, any more than I did. It was created to be shared, and therefore cannot be meaningfully perceived as belonging to anyone at the expense of another. Such a perception makes it meaningless by eliminating or overlooking its real and only meaning.
Explained: The Treasure Map is the Holy Spirit in form. It is the gift given by God to undo wrong-minded thinking to return our awareness to the right mind that leads to One-mindedness. Jesus can be found within, for he is part of the truth of Oneness, not separateness. The one lesson is that you must truly forgive everything no matter what, however, you must forgive with Truforgiveness for it moves you from the belief in separation to the truth of sameness (Perfect Love) within. The power you seek belongs to Perfect Love that is hidden underneath the layers The Treasure Map seeks you to clean with the 'I Forgive' principle.
2 God's meaning waits in the Kingdom, because that is where He placed it. It does not wait in time. It merely rests in the Kingdom because it belongs there, as you do. How can you who are God's meaning perceive yourself as absent from it? You can see yourself as separated from your meaning only by experiencing yourself as unreal. This is why the ego is insane; it teaches that you are not what you are. That is so contradictory it is clearly impossible. It is therefore a lesson you cannot really learn, and therefore cannot really teach. Yet you are always teaching. You must, therefore, be teaching something else, even though the ego does not know what it is. The ego, then, is always being undone, and does suspect your motives. Your mind cannot be unified in allegiance to the ego, because the mind does not belong to it. Yet what is "treacherous" to the ego is faithful to peace. The ego's "enemy" is therefore your friend.
Explained: You must go through the darkness to locate the light, yet, the ego will tell you that you are going the wrong way. But the light is concealed behind the darkness. You must truly forgive each barrier to the awareness of this truth, and to not get caught in the trap of temptation you must truly forgive everything you come across, in order to find your right mind that knows innocence is true, not the guilt of sin. The ego will never be unified for it was made by the belief in separation. To be unified is to be whole and to be whole is to know the truth of Perfect Love that is within you, underneath the layers the ego tells you to bury and hide within. The Treasure Map is the ego's enemy for The Treasure Map is the gift from God sent to undo the ego to move your thinking to the right mind, where the peaceful and loving thoughts you share with God (and everyone else) can be found.
3 I said before that the ego's friend is not part of you, because the ego perceives itself at war and therefore in need of allies. You who are not at war must look for brothers and recognize all whom you see as brothers, because only equals are at peace. Because God's equal Sons have everything, they cannot compete. Yet if they perceive any of their brothers as anything other than their perfect equals, the idea of competition has entered their minds. Do not underestimate your need to be vigilant against this idea, because all your conflicts come from it. It is the belief that conflicting interests are possible, and therefore you have accepted the impossible as true. Is that different from saying you perceive yourself as unreal?
Explained: To see a brother as the same is to see them through the right mind that knows Oneness is true, not separateness. You cannot look upon another from the ego-mind and try to convince yourself that separation is not true, because you have been told this. You must find this truth within, by undoing every barrier to the truth of sameness. When you know sameness (Perfect Love) you know that there is nothing to compete with for there is only You here. Dreaming the dream that death in duality is true.
4 To be in the Kingdom is merely to focus your full attention on it. As long as you believe you can attend to what is not true, you are accepting conflict as your choice. Is it really a choice? It seems to be, but seeming and reality are hardly the same. You who are the Kingdom are not concerned with seeming. Reality is yours because you are reality. This is how having and being are ultimately reconciled, not in the Kingdom, but in your mind. The altar there is the only reality. The altar is perfectly clear in thought, because it is a reflection of perfect Thought. Your right mind sees only brothers, because it sees only in its own light.
Explained: The right mind is buried deep within the darkness of the subconscious mind. If you are being nothing, you will have nothing. It comes from within. You must reconcile what you have with what you are being. To do this, you purify your thinking from fear to love, which is what God has granted The Treasure Map for. For example, if you have accused yourself of being abusive to God then you will have abuse on the level of form. On the other hand, if you have truly forgiven the guilt within your mind to reclaim the truth of innocence, then you will have innocence on the level of form. Remember, it is guilt that offers the nightmare whilst the truth of innocence grants the happy dream in time.
5 God has lit your mind Himself, and keeps your mind lit by His Light because His Light is what your mind is. This is totally beyond question, and when you question it you are answered. The Answer merely undoes the question by establishing the fact that to question reality is to question meaninglessly. That is why the Holy Spirit never questions. His sole function is to undo the questionable and thus lead to certainty. The certain are perfectly calm, because they are not in doubt. They do not raise questions, because nothing questionable enters their minds. This holds them in perfect serenity, because this is what they share, knowing what they are.
Explained: Only the ego questions, so when you want to know why this and why that, know that this is ego speaking. The ego will never know truth, for truth is of Oneness, and the ego is of separateness. They are mutually exclusive. The Light spoken of here is the light of Perfect Love that connects us in sameness. It is found in the right mind, at the base of the treasure maps you draw up and place upon the altar to God.
Day Two
2. Being Comes Before Having
There is a reason that you do not have what it is you want and it can be found hidden within. Traced back to some thought as to why you are not worthy or deserving of the good you seek. It is always wrapped up in the threads of self-punishment that the guilty mind seeks from believing they are sinful of separating from Source. The world of form is the place you come to be punished. So the more you undo your allegiance to sin, guilt, and fear, the less the ways of suffering you have.
The cause is always within for we interpret the story by the confusion inside. If you are dark within you will see yourself as being attacked. If you are light within you will see a call for love.

Lesson 185: I Want the Peace of God.
1. To say these words is nothing. ²But to mean these words is everything. ³If you could but mean them for just an instant, there would be no further sorrow possible for you in any form; in any place or time. ⁴Heaven would be completely given back to full awareness, memory of God entirely restored, the resurrection of all creation fully recognized.
Explained: Words belong to the ego-mind, the belief in separation from Source. To truly mean them is to find the peace of God that belongs to Oneness, not separateness. This means you must let go of the ego-self to know the true Self that is still as God created.
2. No one can mean these words and not be healed. ²He cannot play with dreams, nor think he is himself a dream. ³He cannot make a hell and think it real. ⁴He wants the peace of God, and it is given him. ⁵For that is all he wants, and that is all he will receive. ⁶Many have said these words. ⁷But few indeed have meant them. ⁸You have but to look upon the world you see around you to be sure how very few they are. ⁹The world would be completely changed, should any two agree these words express the only thing they want.
Explained: When it says should any two agree it refers to the right mind that knows Oneness is true, not separateness. It does not mean when two separate minds agree on the meaning of something. To be healed is to be right-minded, to undo the belief in separation to know the sameness of Perfect Love, which is where the peace of God can be found. You see, now that I have found the right mind I see peace without. When I was moving through acute PTSD everywhere I looked was dark indeed. You can change your world by what you have within. Extend love and the world becomes happy and kind. Project the darkness of guilt and it will be unkind and unjust. However, however, however! You cannot consciously control your thinking by being positive, for this means you are painting upon a broken canvas. You must find the peaceful and loving thoughts you share with God that are accessed deep within the darkness of the subconscious mind. This is where the peace of God can be found. And in its wholeness, you are safe and secure indeed.
3. Two minds with one intent become so strong that what they will becomes the Will of God. ²For minds can only join in truth. ³In dreams, no two can share the same intent. ⁴To each, the hero of the dream is different; the outcome wanted not the same for both. ⁵Loser and gainer merely shift about in changing patterns, as the ratio of gain to loss and loss to gain takes on a different aspect or another form.
Explained: The ego seeks to be special and each ego is the hero of its dream. And each ego aims to fulfill its own agenda. As the picture changes from light to dark and dark to light, truth cannot be known. For truth belongs to Oneness where minds are joined and the will of God can be found. We each have two minds. The wrong mind of judgment and attack and the right mind of peace and love. You must undo the wrong mind and locate the right mind that is hidden deep down in the subconscious. By removing the darkness that keeps you seemingly separate, you become a channel of light to extend the truth of God. Power belongs to wholeness, not separateness. This is how you stand upon the rock that Jesus spoke of.
4. Yet compromise alone a dream can bring. ²Sometimes it takes the form of union, but only the form. ³The meaning must escape the dream, for compromising is the goal of dreaming. ⁴Minds cannot unite in dreams. ⁵They merely bargain. ⁶And what bargain can give them the peace of God? ⁷Illusions come to take His place. ⁸And what He means is lost to sleeping minds intent on compromise, each to his gain and to another’s loss.
Explained: Minds cannot unite in dreams refers to the ego-mind, which is the symbol of separation in time. And the dream of time belongs to the ego-mind. It is true to the ego-mind but not to the true Self that sleeps. You cannot pretend to be the ego and say that this is a dream, for it is not to the self that seems to be special and separate. The peace of God belongs to the right mind that leads to One-mindedness. The right mind can be found buried deep within the darkness of the subconscious mind. You cannot compromise with this. You must become vigilant to undo fear to remember love, not seek to attain validation from another ego-mind.
5. To mean you want the peace of God is to renounce all dreams. ²For no one means these words who wants illusions, and who therefore seeks the means which bring illusions. ³He has looked on them, and found them wanting. ⁴Now he seeks to go beyond them, recognizing that another dream would offer nothing more than all the others. ⁵Dreams are one to him. ⁶And he has learned their only difference is one of form, for one will bring the same despair and misery as do the rest.
Explained: To decide you want the peace of God is to truly forgive the entire shadow that covers the light of Perfect Love. To go beyond the dream of death in duality is to truly forgive the barriers that cover the truth of Perfect Love, which is where the peace of God can be found. However, you must forgive within, go deep within, away from ego thinking to locate the right mind that knows all minds are joined.
6. The mind which means that all it wants is peace must join with other minds, for that is how peace is obtained. ²And when the wish for peace is genuine, the means for finding it is given, in a form each mind that seeks for it in honesty can understand. ³Whatever form the lesson takes is planned for him in such a way that he can not mistake it, if his asking is sincere. ⁴But if he asks without sincerity, there is no form in which the lesson will meet with acceptance and be truly learned.
Explained: It is the right mind, hidden deep within the subconscious, that knows the peace of God. It silently calls to you to remember what you have always been but now seem to forget. You must extend love to have this peace. This means that you cannot project blame, for this symbolizes separation, which reinforces the belief in ego-identification. Until you have uncovered the truth of Perfect Love for All you will have your lessons in problem and pain to undo until you discover the light that has been hidden within the darkness that offers the peace you seek. When you find this peace of God in your beingness, you will have the peace of God in the world of form. As having and being are not separate.
7. Let us today devote our practicing to recognizing that we really mean the words we say. ²We want the peace of God. ³This is no idle wish. ⁴These words do not request another dream be given us. ⁵They do not ask for compromise, nor try to make another bargain in the hope that there may yet be one that can succeed where all the rest have failed. ⁶To mean these words acknowledges illusions are in vain, requesting the eternal in the place of shifting dreams which seem to change in what they offer, but are one in nothingness.
Explained: The ego seeks externally to fill the void within, wanting dream after dream in the hope it will be saved. When you want the peace of God you are willing to give up all your illusions, by truly forgiving every shadow of darkness so you can reclaim the truth of light that is the gift within each cloud. You do not pray for a solution on the level of form, but you undo the cause in your mind that tells you, you are sinful of separating from Source. Do not fear the darkness for if you seek correctly, by truly forgiving the way God has granted you will discover a gift of light that you can treasure forever.
8. Today devote your practice periods to careful searching of your mind, to find the dreams you cherish still. ²What do you ask for in your heart? ³Forget the words you use in making your requests. ⁴Consider but what you believe will comfort you, and bring you happiness. ⁵But be you not dismayed by lingering illusions, for their form is not what matters now. ⁶Let not some dreams be more acceptable, reserving shame and secrecy for others. ⁷They are one. ⁸And being one, one question should be asked of all of them, “Is this what I would have, in place of Heaven and the peace of God?”
Explained: When Jesus speaks of searching the mind, he is referring to searching within the subconscious mind, where you have hidden your hate and secret sin. Those long-forgotten grievances that you once buried in the hope they would be gone. But by burying hate you conceal the truth of the Oneness of Perfect Love, where peace can be found. The ego dreams will never make you happy, for the ego is home to lack, loss, and lovelessness. The belief that separation is possible. You must truly forgive every idea of separation, the good, the bad, and the seeming neutral. This undoes your allegiance to ego thinking and will gently take you to the right mind that knows peace and love which leads to One-mindedness, awakening. This is why form does not matter, for the picture painted in time comes from what is within you. And I have the perfect example for this. In my early twenties, I moved through sexual abuse. The ordeal left me feeling dirty, disgusting, sad, used, unloved, self-blaming, etc. My unhealed mind was now on display. Yet, fast-forward twenties years and I found myself in the same situation, with the same man. Only this time, as it began to happen, the truth of Perfect Love rushed into my body, and I felt nothing. Whilst I bled afterward with this second encounter, I was left unscathed. And in this second twist I could answer his call for love, for that was what he was doing. He was asking to be saved, by being truly forgiven. You see, those that are covered in darkness have no light to share. We must actively start to withdraw the darkness we see in time. Because my mind had been healed I no longer saw darkness. And whilst the body seemed to be hurt, I still had love, for that is what I was being.
* If I had stayed in the wrong mind, I would have blamed this man for abuse. Yes, I utilized what came to harm to truly heal, to undo the ego to remember love. This man of darkness has become one of my greatest teachers in time. I am unsure I would have reclaimed the right mind without him. This is how you become truly grateful for a brother.
9. This is the choice you make. ²Be not deceived that it is otherwise. ³No compromise is possible in this. ⁴You choose God’s peace, or you have asked for dreams. ⁵And dreams will come as you requested them. ⁶Yet will God’s peace come just as certainly, and to remain with you forever. ⁷It will not be gone with every twist and turning of the road, to reappear, unrecognized, in forms which shift and change with every step you take.
Explained: In every moment you only ever have two choices: God or the ego. To choose to make the dream in time real and the idea of separation your reality, you cannot know the peace of God. Peace belongs to God (Oneness) as problems do to the ego-mind. The comfort of wholeness that is buried deep within you will ease the suffering of the ego nightmare. You must gently undo your allegiance to the ego by truly forgiving it, as you correct your thinking from fear to love. Only, the Course did not explain the true way to forgive that locates the belief in separation that is hidden deep within the subconscious mind. Behind this misperception of sin is the truth of God, where the door to the right mind can be found. However, you cannot cross to One-mindedness until God truly forgives you. This is the last step and this is why God has granted The Treasure Map, which is how you truly forgive with Him and not the ego.
10. You want the peace of God. ²And so do all who seem to seek for dreams. ³For them as well as for yourself, you ask but this when you make this request with deep sincerity. ⁴For thus you reach to what they really want, and join your own intent with what they seek above all things, perhaps unknown to them, but sure to you. ⁵You have been weak at times, uncertain in your purpose, and unsure of what you wanted, where to look for it, and where to turn for help in the attempt. ⁶Help has been given you. ⁷And would you not avail yourself of it by sharing it?
Explained: To be weak is to judge and make the separate self of ego-identification your truth. The ego does not know your purpose, for You are not the ego. Your purpose is to remember your true Self, the One that God created. And the more you remember truth, the happier your dream in time becomes. For you let go of guilt, which is what seeks the ways of suffering. To share is to truly forgive, to find the connection with All that is hidden deep within you. This is how you reclaim peace and offer it to a brother, by withdrawing the shadow of suffering that projects outwards from the choice to be separate instead of whole.
11. No one who truly seeks the peace of God can fail to find it. ²For he merely asks that he deceive himself no longer by denying to himself what is God’s Will. ³Who can remain unsatisfied who asks for what he has already? ⁴Who could be unanswered who requests an answer which is his to give? ⁵The peace of God is yours.
Explained: God's will for You is to remember who You truly are, not what you are pretending to be (the little self of ego-identification). The peace of God is yours to have and to be if you be willing to remove every barrier to the awareness of love's presence. You must truly forgive the good, the bad, and the neutral, by forgiving the layers in the subconscious mind that cover the truth of Perfect Love that is Home to the peace of God.
12. For you was peace created, given you by its Creator, and established as His Own eternal gift. ²How can you fail, when you but ask for what He wills for you? ³And how could your request be limited to you alone? ⁴No gift of God can be unshared. ⁵It is this attribute that sets the gifts of God apart from every dream that ever seemed to take the place of truth.
Explained: God's gifts belong to Oneness, not separateness. Thus, His gifts are always shared in truth and not illusion. You are an extension of God's Perfect Love, so peace is your natural inheritance. But whilst you seek for specialness and separation you will be filled with pain, problems, and punishment that is home to the ego-mind. Jesus is not speaking of your ego-mind here. He is telling you to locate the right mind spoken of in the Course, that is buried deep within the darkness of the subconscious.
13. No one can lose and everyone must gain whenever any gift of God has been requested and received by anyone. ²God gives but to unite. ³To take away is meaningless to Him. ⁴And when it is as meaningless to you, you can be sure you share one Will with Him, and He with you. ⁵And you will also know you share one Will with all your brothers, whose intent is yours.
Explained: God knows Oneness, He does not perceive separateness. In truth, there is only One of us here, for it is the split-mind that dreams of death in duality. Each seeming separate self that reclaims the peace of God, undoes a little darkness that is hidden within. For example, many years ago, God came to me and told me that I had stopped a little girl from being sexually abused that morning. Why? For I had sufficiently cleaned up a shadow of suffering that she was to fall under. We heal as One. For Oneness is true, not separateness. This is how you become truly helpful to All. You start to clean up the shadows of suffering you see in time. This stops the darkness from projecting and allows the truth of light to extend outwards.
14. It is this one intent we seek today, uniting our desires with the need of every heart, the call of every mind, the hope that lies beyond despair, the love attack would hide, the brotherhood that hate has sought to sever, but which still remains as God created it. ²With Help like this beside us, can we fail today as we request the peace of God be given us?
Explained: Jesus tells you that love has been concealed behind the darkness. You must mentally dive into the darkness within, truly forgiving every barrier to the awareness of love's presence and you will find the wholeness of holiness, Perfect Love. It is within you. This is where the peace of God can be found. You must become vigilant to shift your thinking from wrong-mindedness (judgment and attack) to right-mindedness (peace and love) by following the gift that God has granted: The Treasure Map of Truforgiveness, FAITH & the 'I Forgive' Principle. If you do this, you will make miracles your own. I have gone through the dark to discover the light, and whilst the journey has been difficult it was completely worthwhile. For only love remains!

Day Three
3. Blame is the Outward Expression
What is within you is seen without. This is a spiritual truth. So when you blame another for your position you cannot know the true Self that is perfect, peaceful and powerful, for it belongs to Oneness not separateness. Remember, blame is the outward projection of what you prefer to disown about yourself. So, withdraw the shadows you project outwards to allow yourself to extend the truth of light that is witnessed as love.
The darkness you see in another is the fault that belongs to you. This doesn't mean that bad things do not happen, it simply means the way you interpret the story changes based upon the darkness or light you have within.

Lesson 60: Review
1. (46) God is the Love in which I forgive.
²God does not forgive because He has never condemned. ³The blameless cannot blame, and those who have accepted their innocence see nothing to forgive. ⁴Yet forgiveness is the means by which I will recognize my innocence. ⁵It is the reflection of God’s Love on earth. ⁶It will bring me near enough to Heaven that the Love of God can reach down to me and raise me up to Him.
Explained: God has never condemned because He is One. There is nothing to condemn against. Condemnation belongs to the ego-mind that believes separation is true. When you see the word Forgiveness in the Course, substitute it for Truforgiveness in your mind. For the Course speaks of the true way to forgive, which is to forgive within, not merely without. As it leads you to the truth of wholeness where judgment and attack cannot exist. You clean up the mess in your mind, but God will truly forgive you before He raises You up. Whilst the Course says that God has nothing to forgive for nothing has happened, you require this to be raised from the dead of sleep you have once drowned in.
2. (47) God is the strength in which I trust.
²It is not my own strength through which I forgive. ³It is through the strength of God in me, which I am remembering as I forgive. ⁴As I begin to see, I recognize His reflection on earth. ⁵I forgive all things because I feel the stirring of His strength in me. ⁶And I begin to remember the Love I chose to forget, but which has not forgotten me.
Explained: The right mind within knows the truth of sameness, not separateness. Listen to the inner voice as you mentally dive within, truly forgiving the barriers to the awareness of love's presence. When you find the truth of love within you will see this without, as having and being are not separate. Find the truth of innocence within and you will welcome in the happy dream in time. As what is within is seen without.
3. (48) There is nothing to fear.
²How safe the world will look to me when I can see it! ³It will not look anything like what I imagine I see now. ⁴Everyone and everything I see will lean toward me to bless me. ⁵I will recognize in everyone my dearest Friend. ⁶What could there be to fear in a world that I have forgiven, and that has forgiven me?
Explained: Fear belongs to the wrong mind of judgment and attack. When you truly forgive the shadows and return thinking to the right mind, which is where The Treasure Map takes you, your sight has been restored to truth. Innocence is true, not the guilt of sin. Everything looks lighter and lovelier for you have remembered who You are: the Child of God.
4. (49) God’s Voice speaks to me all through the day.
²There is not a moment in which God’s Voice ceases to call on my forgiveness to save me. ³There is not a moment in which His Voice fails to direct my thoughts, guide my actions and lead my feet. ⁴I am walking steadily on toward truth. ⁵There is nowhere else I can go, because God’s Voice is the only Voice and the only Guide that has been given to His Son.
Explained: You must become vigilant to continue to follow the process of FAITH and shift from the wrong mind to the right with Truforgiveness. God does not speak to the ego-mind, but to the true Self that is still as God created: perfect, peaceful and powerful.
5. (50) I am sustained by the Love of God.
²As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love. ³As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see. ⁴As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless. ⁵And as I look upon the world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son.
Explained: This has nothing to do with the ego-mind. You must find the right mind within that is still connected to God to be carried upon His cloud of Perfect Love. It is in the right mind you rest, until you find yourself back in thoughts of judgment and attack (ego thinking) and you must follow the process of FAITH (how you truly forgive) to move once again from the wrong mind to the right. This work is the constant thought-correction from fear to love. And to be His Son is to know the truth of Oneness, not separateness. Do not call yourself the Son of God from the ego-mind, for this is simply not true.
Day Four
4. Positive versus True
Do not limit yourself to positive affirmations for they may not be true. Find the true affirmation - the thoughts you share with God, which are always loving and kind - and build upon the rock of Perfect Love that denies you not the happy dream in time. You must purify your thinking in order to dissolve the guilt that seeks the ways of suffering.
The darkness you see in another is the fault that belongs to you. This doesn't mean that bad things do not happen, it simply means the way you interpret the story changes based upon the fear or love you have within.
Bonus Gift
Lesson 45: God is the Mind with which I think.
1. Today’s idea holds the key to what your real thoughts are. ²They are nothing that you think you think, just as nothing that you think you see is related to vision in any way. ³There is no relationship between what is real and what you think is real. ⁴Nothing that you think are your real thoughts resemble your real thoughts in any respect. ⁵Nothing that you think you see bears any resemblance to what vision will show you.
Explained: The thoughts in your brain are not your true thoughts. They are the projection of what has been hidden within. What you see is distorted by this veil of guilt that covers the truth of Perfect Love that is here for the innocent Mind. The thoughts you share with God can be accessed at the base of the treasure maps you draw up, where the truth of Perfect Love resides.
2. You think with the Mind of God. ²Therefore you share your thoughts with Him, as He shares His with you. ³They are the same thoughts, because they are thought by the same Mind. ⁴To share is to make alike, or to make one. ⁵Nor do the thoughts you think with the Mind of God leave your mind, because thoughts do not leave their source. ⁶Therefore, your thoughts are in the Mind of God, as you are. ⁷They are in your mind as well, where He is. ⁸As you are part of His Mind, so are your thoughts part of His Mind.
Explained: This is once again referring to the peaceful and kind thoughts buried deep within the darkness of the subconscious mind. You must remove the dark cloud to discover the light. There are two minds. The wrong mind and the right mind. The right mind is where those true affirmations of love and light can be found and these are the thoughts you share with God. For you have removed the barriers to the awareness of love's presence.
3. Where, then, are your real thoughts? ²Today we will attempt to reach them. ³We will have to look for them in your mind, because that is where they are. ⁴They must still be there, because they cannot have left their source. ⁵What is thought by the Mind of God is eternal, being part of creation.
Explanation: Every time you draw up your treasure maps you are accessing your real thoughts. You have shifted your thinking from fear to love, and corrected the cause that is in your mind. Just because your real thoughts are concealed behind the belief in separation, does not mean they are gone. It just means that You have forgotten who You are.
4. Our three five-minute practice periods for today will take the same general form that we used in applying yesterday’s idea. ²We will attempt to leave the unreal and seek for the real. ³We will deny the world in favor of truth. ⁴We will not let the thoughts of the world hold us back. ⁵We will not let the beliefs of the world tell us that what God would have us do is impossible. ⁶Instead, we will try to recognize that only what God would have us do is possible.
Explanation: For your three practice periods today I want you to mentally draw up your treasure map in your mind. When you feel a shadow form across your mind, mentally start to withdraw it. Dive through the darkness within to find the peace of God and the true thoughts you share with Him. This is how you will truly heal and learn that what the ego tells you is the problem is not true. Do not believe the ego, for it lies.
5. We will also try to understand that only what God would have us do is what we want to do. ²And we will also try to remember that we cannot fail in doing what He would have us do. ³There is every reason to feel confident that we will succeed today. ⁴It is the Will of God.
Explanation: Have you ever found yourself pushing yourself to do something? Your ego-mind is telling you to get up and go to a job that you dislike, yet the inner voice is saying no. We often go against this inner voice, pushing ahead, making us do something we really do not want to do. When this happens, mentally go within, draw up your treasure maps and find the thoughts you share with God. They will tell you what to do. When you start to follow the inner guidance, nothing is difficult and you will be confident you are going the right way.
6. Begin the exercises for today by repeating the idea to yourself, closing your eyes as you do so. ²Then spend a fairly short period in thinking a few relevant thoughts of your own, keeping the idea in mind. ³After you have added some four or five thoughts of your own to the idea, repeat it again and tell yourself gently:
⁴My real thoughts are in my mind. ⁵I would like to find them.
Explanation: The real thoughts Jesus speaks of are found in the right mind. They are the thoughts you share with God. You will receive divine guidance as to what to do if you continue to practice the process of FAITH to clean up your thinking from the wrong mind of judgment and attack to the right mind of peace and love.
⁶Then try to go past all the unreal thoughts that cover the truth in your mind, and reach to the eternal.
Explanation: This is what you are doing with The Treasure Map, for the eternal thoughts you share with God are hidden in the right mind that can be accessed at the base of the treasure maps you draw up. You must continue to shift from the ego deep down into your beingness of Perfect Love that connects you to All. Where the idea of separation has been forgotten and the truth of sameness has been remembered. Remember, that which is the same cannot know guilt, as guilt comes from the belief in separation.
7. Under all the senseless thoughts and mad ideas with which you have cluttered up your mind are the thoughts that you thought with God in the beginning. ²They are there in your mind now, completely unchanged. ³They will always be in your mind, exactly as they always were. ⁴Everything you have thought since then will change, but the Foundation on which it rests is wholly changeless.
Explanation: Jesus gives you a clue here to where the right mind can be found and how you must 'forgive within' for the thoughts you share with God that are changeless have been buried deep within you. Underneath the mindless clutter of ego thinking and all the barriers to the awareness of love's presence that the ego made to keep you in separation, sickness, and suffering.
8. It is this Foundation toward which the exercises for today are directed. ²Here is your mind joined with the Mind of God. ³Here are your thoughts one with His. ⁴For this kind of practice only one thing is necessary; approach it as you would an altar dedicated in Heaven to God the Father and to God the Son. ⁵For such is the place you are trying to reach. ⁶You will probably be unable as yet to realize how high you are trying to go. ⁷Yet even with the little understanding you have already gained, you should be able to remind yourself that this is no idle game, but an exercise in holiness and an attempt to reach the Kingdom of Heaven.
Explanation: The altar to God is within you. It is just behind where the ego has hidden the belief in separation. By following the process of FAITH and the interlocking chain of miracles, you will move from fear to love, dark to light, and separation to sameness. Here, you place your idols of separation upon the altar to God saying you will have no other gods (the ego) before Him. The Treasure Map has been granted to make this shift possible. For the Kingdom of Heaven is the truth of Perfect Love, wholeness, Oneness. And it is inside you. Far away from the ego-mind, underneath the darkness of the subconscious mind.
9. In the shorter exercise periods for today, try to remember how important it is to you to understand the holiness of the mind that thinks with God. ²Take a minute or two, as you repeat the idea throughout the day, to appreciate your mind’s holiness. ³Stand aside, however briefly, from all thoughts that are unworthy of Him Whose host you are. ⁴And thank Him for the Thoughts He is thinking with you.
Explanation: The holy mind that thinks with God is deep in the subconscious. No longer are you lost in ego thinking with a million thoughts moving through your brain. In fact, this is how I now operate. My awareness sits in the lower gut and the peace of God holds me tight. I feel supported by the truth of love that is so whole that fear cannot enter. Gone is the anxiety and depression those that are separate suffer through. From here, when you have completed your true prayer to God, which is your treasure map, you can offer your power prayer, which is a prayer of love and devotion only, for the Father you know you are at One with.
Day Five
5. I Forgive Leads to I Love
You must clean every dark thought-form that you have made until all that is left is the truth of Perfect Love. This is how you move from the nightmare into the happy dream that offers the goodness you seek to know, all by giving up the guilt of sin. Live the happy dream where you have the gifts of God. When you really understand that all you need to do is to clean within, you start to live, for you begin to awaken.
All the love you seek is within you. By cleaning within you stumble upon this truth and by finding it within you will see it without. If you are looking for some angel love, get those wings flying by forgiving within!

Chapter 12 – VIII. The Attraction of Love for Love
T-12.VIII.1. Do you really believe that you can kill the Son of God? 2 The Father has hidden His Son safely within Himself, and kept him far away from your destructive thoughts, but you know neither the Father nor the Son because of them. 3 You attack the real world every day and every hour and every minute, and yet you are surprised that you cannot see it. 4 If you seek love in order to attack it, you will never find it. 5 For if love is sharing, how can you find it except through itself? 6 Offer it and it will come to you, because it is drawn to itself. 7 But offer attack and love will remain hidden, for it can live only in peace.
Explained: Jesus was the Son of God for he remembered the right mind that knows of sameness and not separateness. Whilst we are All the Son of God from the truth of wholeness, whilst you believe you are the ego-mind you will never be the Son of God that You are in truth. For you are being something other than what You are in reality: separate. The Son of God cannot be killed, for the Son is not the body. The Son is the being of Perfect Love created as an extension of God's truth. To share love you must undo the darkness you see in time, to dissolve the shadows of suffering that stem from some aspect of the belief in separation from Source.
T-12.VIII.2. God's Son is as safe as his Father, for the Son knows his Father's protection and cannot fear. 2 His Father's Love holds him in perfect peace, and needing nothing, he asks for nothing. 3 Yet he is far from you whose Self he is, for you chose to attack him and he disappeared from your sight into his Father. 4 He did not change, but you did. 5 For a split mind and all its works were not created by the Father, and could not live in the knowledge of Him.
Explanation: God's Son is found in the right mind, not the wrong mind. The peace and protection you seek can be accessed in the truth of sameness, not separateness. You must give up your attack thoughts by truly forgiving them, not by denying them, to shift your awareness deep down into the lower gut to where the right mind has been concealed from your awareness. Here you will find the Son of God and the thoughts you share with the Father that knows completion, not competition.
T-12.VIII.3. When you made visible what is not true, what is true became invisible to you. 2 Yet it cannot be invisible in itself, for the Holy Spirit sees it with perfect clarity. 3 It is invisible to you because you are looking at something else. 4 Yet it is no more up to you to decide what is visible and what is invisible, than it is up to you to decide what reality is. 5 What can be seen is what the Holy Spirit sees. 6 The definition of reality is God's, not yours. 7 He created it, and He knows what it is. 8 You who knew have forgotten, and unless He had given you a way to remember you would have condemned yourself to oblivion.
Explanation: When you have time today, go outside and look all around you. 360 degrees. What you see has been made by the thoughts you think within. Behind the buildings, the people, the cars, the trees, the clouds, is the truth of Perfect Love. Everything is happening in the split-mind that dreams of death in duality. God is all around you. But whilst you know yourself to be the separate mind you cannot know the true reality You share with your Father: Perfect Love.
T-12.VIII.4. Because of your Father's Love you can never forget Him, for no one can forget what God Himself placed in his memory. 2 You can deny it, but you cannot lose it. 3 A Voice will answer every question you ask, and a vision will correct the perception of everything you see. 4 For what you have made invisible is the only truth, and what you have not heard is the only Answer. 5 God would reunite you with yourself, and did not abandon you in your distress. 6 You are waiting only for Him, and do not know it. 7 Yet His memory shines in your mind and cannot be obliterated. 8 It is no more past than future, being forever always.
Explanation: You cannot hear God when you know yourself to be the ego-mind of separation. The more you 'forgive within' and shift your thinking to the right mind the easier it becomes to hear this silent voice that will lead you through the dark corridors of your mind to reclaim the truth of Perfect Love that has been concealed behind the darkness. You must learn to move your thinking deep down into the lower gut until you find the loving thoughts you share with God. Remember, 'I forgive leads to I love,' for you are removing the barriers to the awareness of love's perfect presence.
T-12.VIII.5. You have but to ask for this memory, and you will remember. 2 Yet the memory of God cannot shine in a mind that has obliterated it and wants to keep it so. 3 For the memory of God can dawn only in a mind that chooses to remember, and that has relinquished the insane desire to control reality. 4 You who cannot even control yourself should hardly aspire to control the universe. 5 But look upon what you have made of it, and rejoice that it is not so.
Explained: The memory of God cannot be known by the ego-mind that believes in separation, for it cannot understand sameness (Perfect Love). To know God you must know Oneness, which is where The Treasure Map takes you.
T-12.VIII.6. Son of God, be not content with nothing! 2 What is not real cannot be seen and has no value. 3 God could not offer His Son what has no value, nor could His Son receive it. 4 You were redeemed the instant you thought you had deserted Him. 5 Everything you made has never been, and is invisible because the Holy Spirit does not see it. 6 Yet what He does see is yours to behold, and through His vision your perception is healed. 7 You have made invisible the only truth that this world holds. 8 Valuing nothing, you have sought nothing. 9 By making nothing real to you, you have seen it. 10 But it is not there. 11 And Christ is invisible to you because of what you have made visible to yourself.
Explained: You are the Son of God, not from the ego-mind but from the right mind that is hidden deep within the darkness of the subconscious mind. When you return your thinking to the right mind the world of form cannot touch you. For example, I remember a time in my twenties when I was working two jobs. I was earning great money, yet I felt a constant lack deep within. Fast-forward in time and as I was building the work of The Treasure Map I had hardly any money coming in, but I did not once experience lack, even though there was nothing much happening work-wise. This is the miracle. No matter what the picture in time plays for you, you will be kept safe in God's Perfect Love that says fear cannot enter.
T-12.VIII.7. Yet it does not matter how much distance you have tried to interpose between your awareness and truth. 2 God's Son can be seen because his vision is shared. 3 The Holy Spirit looks upon him, and sees nothing else in you. 4 What is invisible to you is perfect in His sight, and encompasses all of it. 5 He has remembered you because He forgot not the Father. 6 You looked upon the unreal and found despair. 7 Yet by seeking the unreal, what else could you find? 8 The unreal world is a thing of despair, for it can never be. 9 And you who share God's Being with Him could never be content without reality. 10 What God did not give you has no power over you, and the attraction of love for love remains irresistible. 11 For it is the function of love to unite all things unto itself, and to hold all things together by extending its wholeness.
Explained: The distance Jesus refers to are the layers of darkness within the subconscious mind that cover the truth of Perfect Love, where the right mind and the loving thoughts You share with God can be found. You must get out of your ego-mind, and gently clean every layer within the subconscious, and if you go deep enough within you will find this foundation of love that you can rest within, even when the world seems ugly and dark. Instead of seeing war, you will not see a call for love. How do you share love? You remove the clouds that conceal the truth. You undo the darkness in your mind to extend love from the right mind that knows Oneness is true, not separateness.
T-12.VIII.8. The real world was given you by God in loving exchange for the world you made and the world you see. 2 Only take it from the hand of Christ and look upon it. 3 Its reality will make everything else invisible, for beholding it is total perception. 4 And as you look upon it you will remember that it was always so. 5 Nothingness will become invisible, for you will at last have seen truly. 6 Redeemed perception is easily translated into knowledge, for only perception is capable of error and perception has never been. 7 Being corrected it gives place to knowledge, which is forever the only reality. 8 The Atonement is but the way back to what was never lost. 9 Your Father could not cease to love His Son.
Explained: Knowledge can be accessed in the right mind, for it knows sameness, not separateness. The world of form is nothing, for it was made to die. Your truth is eternal, but you will not know this when you align your thinking to the wrong mind of sin, guilt, and fear. The more you forgive within and start to shift your awareness to the right mind the greater your knowledge becomes and you will come to see the truth of ACIM via revelation and not ego interpretation.

Forget stilling the conscious mind! For you must mentally dig deeper within the subconscious and follow the process of FAITH to move from the wrong mind to the right. That is home to the truth of Perfect Love you seek. When you are being love, you will have love. When you are being whole, you will have wholeness, that is, good abundance.
