I am God versus I am God'sOct 16, 2020
Do not let the ego convince you that you are God. There is a popular affirmation often circulating, I am God, that is set to empower those that repeat it. Yet, it is the misperception of wanting to be God that got you into the place that you are in right now: the separate self of ego-identification that is home to lack, loss, and lovelessness.
The ego will never be God, for it is the symbol of separation in time. Do not try to paint it into perfection for it was born from the belief in sin. Instead, learn to undo the ego to find the truth of who you are: the Child of God, the being of Oneness that knows innocence is true.
The affirmation 'I am God,' simply does not hold true. You are not God and nor will you ever be, although the ego would like to think otherwise. You are the Child of God that has fallen asleep, dreaming they are something they are not. And this is why there is so much distinction between I am God and I am God's. The former is disrespectful to the Father of Perfect Love and the latter is the truth of who You are.
You belong to God, not to the ego.
If you do wish to state affirmations, you must find the right mind of peace and love from where the affirmation holds true - which is hidden deep within the subconscious mind. Learn how to move from the wrong mind of judgment and attack (the ego) to the right mind of peace and love and you will redesign your right-minded dream from the place of goodness, not guilt.
You only ever have two choices in each moment - do you belong to the ego or to God? To belong to God you must find the truth of your beingness that knows not of separation or thoughts of being God yourself. You are the Child, not the Father. So throughout the day, when you remember, remind yourself that you are God's, not you are god.
A small shift in perception can make all the difference.
What do you need to shift today? What is being asked to be let go of? How does this make you feel? What do you need to know?
Much love, peace, and Truforgiveness,
