The Good Direction
Jul 30, 2026
When you feel lost — or stand before so many open doors that you cannot tell which one is yours — it is tempting to search the world for a sign. To wait for the right job, the right person, the right moment to point the way. But the good direction you are looking for was never out there. It is made within. As what is within is seen without. So the way ahead — smooth or scary, kind or cruel — is shaped first in your own mind, long before your feet ever meet it.
The way is made within
For too long we have keep our awareness in the head, the home of the wrong mind, where the ego projects the shadows of sin, guilt, and fear out onto the road before us. And so we see ahead only what we have not yet forgiven within — traveling in circles through the same lessons, dressed each time in a different disguise. To change the direction, you do not push harder against the world. You change your mind, from the wrong to the right.
As you let go of being lost, wrong-minded, you are found, right-minded.
Grace, not guilt
Hidden beneath the darkness, resting quietly within, is the right mind of wholeness — perfect, peaceful and powerful, still as God created it. This is the voice that knows the direction you must follow. You reach it not by convincing a fearful mind that the way ahead is safe, but by forgiving within — withdrawing the shadows that conceal the light, so you extend grace instead of projecting guilt. The road then illuminates from pain to peace, because you have cleaned it before you ever stepped into the scene.
Build upon the rock
When the Home is built upon the rock rather than the sand, the rock is the right mind of Perfect Love, and the sand the wrong mind of ego thinking, where the self that is little, lacking, and loveless holds true. To build upon the rock is to move through a purification process — the very thing you do with your treasure maps — making the journey through the valley of the shadow of death, the subconscious, to open the door to the right mind, where God is.
Go within, for it leads without — waking to the Self that is perfect, peaceful and powerful.
How the map works
The Good Direction Treasure Map works through FAITH — Forgiveness, Authenticity, Introspection, Trust and Honesty — and a set of thirty questions that surface the hidden hurt, layer by layer. You meet each one honestly, then answer it with your own ‘I forgive…’ statement, until the whole map becomes one continuous true prayer. It asks only that you go gently, and never more than one map a day. This is tender inner work, and it deserves your patience.
It begins with you
Seek not to judge the direction, for to do so is to make it true. Instead, keep correcting your thinking from the wrong mind to the right, and you will find your way — not because the world has changed, but because you have. Undo the darkness you see without, and you will truly heal and make miracles your own.
And may you go within, for it leads without — remembering the Self that God created You to be: perfect, peaceful and powerful.
Much love, peace and Truforgiveness,
