Let's Go Up

When life has you at the bottom, everything in you wants to climb out the same way you fell in — by rearranging the world, fixing the circumstances, forcing the way forward, convincing people you are right, and doing everything in your will to make it so. But the way up was never built out there. It is built within. For what is within is seen without, and so the way up begins the moment you stop searching outside for the exit and turn to the one place the light has been waiting all along: the right mind, hidden beneath the shadows you have not yet purified from separate to the same.

The way up is built within

You are not held down by the world. You are held down by the shadows that conceal your right mind — the littleness, lack, and limitation the wrong mind projects onto your life and calls reality. It looks like a ceiling you cannot see past. It feels like a weight you cannot name. But it is not the truth of you. Beneath the darkness rests the right mind, still as God created: perfect, peaceful and powerful. Clean the shadows within, and the picture played for you begins to alter — not because you forced the world, but because you withdrew the darkness before you stepped into the scene.

No matter where you are at, there is a way to truly heal and get yourself out of the darkness and into the light. It is a process of purification, from guilt to grace.

Go down to go up

Here is the part that surprises people. You do not always rise by climbing higher into the mind you fell with. You can rise by going down — down out of the busy brain where the ego is but the effect of the shadows of sin, guilt, and fear, and into the subconscious, where the right mind of revelation quietly reside. My own greatest gains came when it looked like I was going the wrong way, as I gently undid the ego-mind that had jailed me to darkness. This is the secret of the ladder: you must go backward to go forward, and down into the right mind to go up.

Lifted above the ego battlefield

Day by day, as the guilt is unknotted and grace is made known, you are lifted above the ego battlefield of lack, loss, and lovelessness — and problems become peace. You stop competing and begin completing. You stop projecting and begin extending. And from the platform of completion you come to know trust and truth, safety and security, peace and prosperity, and the wholeness of holiness that belongs to the right mind. This is what it means to build your castles in the sky upon the rock of completion.

You have the power to change your life by changing your mind.

How the map works

The Let’s Go Up Treasure Map works through FAITH — Forgiveness, Authenticity, Introspection, Trust and Honesty — and a set of thirty questions that surface the hidden hurt, layer by layer. You meet each one honestly, then answer it with your own ‘I forgive…’ statement, until the whole map becomes one continuous true prayer. It asks only that you go gently, and never more than one map a day. This is tender inner work, and it deserves your patience.

You are not helpless, and you were never meant to stay in the shadows. Hidden deep within is the power of Perfect Love — greater than all the egos in time, because it knows wholeness, holiness and happiness. Unknot the projections that keep you a prisoner of pain, punishment and problems, and let the light lift you. It is time to go up.
