Chapter 15-VI Explained: The Holy instant and the Laws of God

T-15.VI.1. It is impossible to use one relationship at the expense of another and not to suffer guilt. 2 And it is equally impossible to condemn part of a relationship and find peace within it. 3 Under the Holy Spirit's teaching all relationships are seen as total commitments, yet they do not conflict with one another in any way. 4 Perfect faith in each one, for its ability to satisfy you completely, arises only from perfect faith in yourself. 5 And this you cannot have while guilt remains. 6 And there will be guilt as long as you accept the possibility, and cherish it, that you can make a brother into what he is not, because you would have him so.

Explained: When Jesus speaks of Perfect FAITH here, he is referring to the true way to forgive that has now been granted by God. The process of FAITH and how you place your Truforgiveness upon the altar to Him. To have Perfect FAITH is to undo the ego belief in separation and differences to unite in the truth of sameness (Perfect Love) that teaches we are One. What you hold against another you hold against yourself, for there is only You here. Whilst guilt remains or blame of any kind you believe in separation, which cuts you off from the truth of Oneness and the peace you seek. For peace belongs to God whilst problems to the ego-mind of sin, guilt, and fear. To cherish guilt is to cherish the ego over God and make a brother into something he is not: sinful of separating from Source.

The Treasure Map is the Holy Spirit in form, as she takes you from the belief in separation (the ego) to the altar to God, to truth, to Perfect Love. She is the bridge that crosses from illusion to reality (Oneness).

T-15.VI.2. You have so little faith in yourself because you are unwilling to accept the fact that perfect love is in you. 2 And so you seek without for what you cannot find without. 3 I offer you my perfect faith in you, in place of all your doubts. 4 But forget not that my faith must be as perfect in all your brothers as it is in you, or it would be a limited gift to you. 5 In the holy instant we share our faith in God's Son because we recognize, together, that he is wholly worthy of it, and in our appreciation of his worth we cannot doubt his holiness. 6 And so we love him.

Explained: When you know that FAITH means the true way to forgive that takes you from the ego-mind to the true Self that is at One with God, this becomes easier to understand. It is in the truth of Perfect Love within that you know your brothers, where the belief in separation has been undone in your wrong mind. For you have found the right mind. When you find the truth of Perfect Love within you will have no doubts, as the dark shadows of suffering belong to the ego-mind. And this you undo your allegiance to by following the FAITH of God that takes you from the wrong mind to the right mind of peace and love hidden deep within the subconscious mind. This is why FAITH cannot be limited, for limitation belongs to the ego and God’s FAITH undoes the ego to return you to right-minded thinking: Oneness. And if your FAITH is not perfect it is because you refuse to truly forgive the darkness that covers the light.

All separation vanishes as holiness is shared. 2 For holiness is power, and by sharing it, it gains in strength. 3 If you seek for satisfaction in gratifying your needs as you perceive them, you must believe that strength comes from another, and what you gain he loses. 4 Someone must always lose if you perceive yourself as weak. 5 Yet there is another interpretation of relationships that transcends the concept of loss of power completely.

Explained: In the holy instant, you know that Oneness is true, not separateness. However, you must locate the right mind in the subconscious to have this. All separation vanishes when you follow the FAITH of God from the wrong mind to the right that leads to One-mindedness. To gain strength is to give up the little mind of ego to know the mind of Perfect Love that accesses the power of perfection, wholeness. Holiness is wholeness, for there is no belief in sin, which is what gave rise to the need for separation. To be weak is to be of the ego-mind. Undo the ego by following the FAITH of God as you give up the notion of separation to reclaim the truth of sameness that is holy indeed. You must learn to truly forgive your relationships as we each undo the fear in our mind to return to love. This is what I have done, and when I have truly forgiven a relationship the relationship has been taken from me, and I have been free to move on to the next one I need truly forgive. Learn to see relationships in this manner, as those you walk with are those you need to truly heal with. When the lessons are done, we are free to walk a different road with those now going in the same direction. Stop judging your relationships and truly forgive them and true healing and miracles will happen. 

T-15.VI.4. You do not find it difficult to believe that when another calls on God for love, your call remains as strong. 2 Nor do you think that when God answers him, your hope of answer is diminished. 3 On the contrary, you are more inclined to regard his success as witness to the possibility of yours. 4 That is because you recognize, however dimly, that God is an idea, and so your faith in Him is strengthened by sharing. 5 What you find difficult to accept is the fact that, like your Father, you are an idea. 6 And like Him, you can give yourself completely, wholly without loss and only with gain. 7 Herein lies peace, for here there is no conflict.

 Explained: There is only You here. So when another calls for God, as you can see I am in this course, it is our call. From our right mind. I am demonstrating the right mind to you, but it is the mind we share, for we are One, not two. However, this you cannot know when you are still bound to ego-identification. 

 This is so important to remember. FAITH refers to how you truly forgive by shifting your thinking from the wrong mind to the right mind, which is how we strengthen an idea for we build upon the rock of Perfect Love, not the shifting sands of time (the ego-mind). There is no conflict in the right mind that knows we are the same and this world is the illusion not the place of competition.  

Whenever you see the word FAITH in the Course, know that Jesus means how you truly forgive, by withdrawing the shadow that has been cast outwards from the misperception of separation that is seen without in its myriad forms of suffering. For example, cheating on God by choosing the ego might be experienced on the level of form as having a partner cheat on you with another or you cheating on someone. The cause is always within. When you correct at the cause, it changes the story of suffering in time. 

T-15.VI.5. In the world of scarcity, love has no meaning and peace is impossible. 2 For gain and loss are both accepted, and so no one is aware that perfect love is in him. 3 In the holy instant you recognize the idea of love in you, and unite this idea with the Mind that thought it, and could not relinquish it. 4 By holding it within itself, there is no loss. 5 The holy instant thus becomes a lesson in how to hold all of your brothers in your mind, experiencing not loss but completion. 6 From this it follows you can only give. 7 And this is love, for this alone is natural under the laws of God. 8 In the holy instant the laws of God prevail, and only they have meaning. 9 The laws of this world cease to hold any meaning at all. 10 When the Son of God accepts the laws of God as what he gladly wills, it is impossible that he be bound, or limited in any way. 11 In that instant he is as free as God would have him be. 12 For the instant he refuses to be bound, he is not bound.

 Explained: The world of scarcity comes from the belief in separation, where the idea of lack was first made in your mind. As you let go of the wholeness of holiness that is God for the ego-mind of loss, littleness, and lovelessness. To unite the mind is to locate the right mind to where The Treasure Map leads you. Deep into the darkness of the subconscious mind as you truly forgive each layer that covers the truth of Perfect Love. Perfect Love cannot lose, for Oneness is true, not separateness. Now, you can only give, for you no longer project blame which seeks to divide, but extend love for you are whole within. This is the true meaning of love, the truth of Oneness within you. Forget the special love the ego delivers, whereby one minute you are in and then next you are out, for this is simply based upon lessons in unlearning fear to remember love. If you do follow the curriculum of the Holy Spirit and The Treasure Map to utilize each shadow of suffering to find the light, no matter what relationship you find yourself in you truly forgive until it is time to move on to another relationship. You continue to do so until you have truly forgiven that person and can let them go, for true love is freeing, it would never tether nor chain. For it knows love can never be lost for it is whole not part.

T-15.VI.6. In the holy instant nothing happens that has not always been. 2 Only the veil that has been drawn across reality is lifted. 3 Nothing has changed. 4 Yet the awareness of changelessness comes swiftly as the veil of time is pushed aside. 5 No one who has not yet experienced the lifting of the veil, and felt himself drawn irresistibly into the light behind it, can have faith in love without fear. 6 Yet the Holy Spirit gives you this faith, because He offered it to me and I accepted it. 7 Fear not the holy instant will be denied you, for I denied it not. 8 And through me the Holy Spirit gives it unto you, as you will give it. 9 Let no need you perceive obscure your need of this. 10 For in the holy instant you will recognize the only need the Sons of God share equally, and by this recognition you will join with me in offering what is needed.

 Explained: You must follow the process of FAITH to move from the wrong mind of separation to the right mind of sameness. The holy instant is when you remember the true Self that is still as God created. By truly forgiving the contents of the subconscious mind you remove the veil that was placed over your right mind and distorted the true reality those with an innocent Mind see: peace and love. You cannot have FAITH with fear, for the FAITH of God, which is the Holy Spirit in form, moves you from the ego to the truth of Perfect Love that is so whole fear cannot enter. This true way to forgive that has now been granted by God is how Jesus truly forgave. And it is how Jesus made miracles. I can now attest to this as well, for it is the FAITH given to me by God that I have used to truly transform my life. You truly forgive the way that God teaches and not the ego and you too will receive the holy instant, when you give up the belief in separation to know the truth of sameness: Perfect Love. It is through Jesus we know the holy instant, for he is part of the One Son of God that we all are in the truth of wholeness. Here, no one can be left out. And what do the Sons of God need, they need to be truly forgiven, which God has guided as Truforgiveness. For you follow the process of FAITH, by digging with the ‘I Forgive’ principle, to place your Truforgiveness upon the altar to God which symbolizes you will have no idols (the ego) before God. This returns you to the right mind that leads to One-mindedness.

 T-15.VI.7. It is through us that peace will come. 2 Join me in the idea of peace, for in ideas minds can communicate. 3 If you would give yourself as your Father gives His Self, you will learn to understand Selfhood. 4 And therein is love's meaning understood. 5 But remember that understanding is of the mind, and only of the mind. 6 Knowledge is therefore of the mind, and its conditions are in the mind with it. 7 If you were not an idea, and nothing but an idea, you could not be in full communication with all that ever was. 8 Yet as long as you prefer to be something else, or would attempt to be nothing else and something else together, you will not remember the language of communication, which you know perfectly.

 Explained: Peace is found in the truth of Perfect Love, which is hidden deep within you, underneath these layers of the subconscious mind that you are cleaning up with The Treasure Map and the process of FAITH that leads from separation to sameness. By extending love you will see peace on earth. In your home and relationships, whenever darkness comes you must withdraw these shadows. Become vigilant to clean within with this process of FAITH and you will truly heal. If you get stuck in darkness know that you have an iceberg of guilt you must mentally chip away at. When you truly forgive each strand of suffering the light will appear. It might take one week, one month, or one year. Do not judge the journey, truly forgive until the light appears and you let go of the suffering to be saved. The Father extends love, yet the ego-mind projects the guilt of sin. You must learn to extend love, but to do so, you must follow the FAITH of God to find the right mind that knows we are the same. In truth, you are the being of Perfect Love, not the body born to die. Form belongs to the dream that death in duality is possible. You must wake up from the dream and one way to do so is to undo the fear to find the truth of love within that is so whole fear cannot enter. When you find this well of wholeness you will see love without, for what is within is projected outwards. Now, you will have others who love you, for you have given up your call for punishment.

T-15.VI.8. In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all your brothers is remembered with Him. 2 For communication is remembered together, as is truth. 3 There is no exclusion in the holy instant because the past is gone, and with it goes the whole basis for exclusion. 4 Without its source exclusion vanishes. 5 And this permits your Source, and that of all your brothers, to replace it in your awareness. 6 God and the power of God will take Their rightful place in you, and you will experience the full communication of ideas with ideas. 7 Through your ability to do this you will learn what you must be, for you will begin to understand what your Creator is, and what His creation is along with Him.

 Explained: Remember, the holy instant is when you forget the belief in separation to know the truth of Perfect Love, sameness. Where God is. Here, you know the truth of God, not how the ego teaches, but how God would have you know. This is how I communicate with God, from the right mind of Oneness. It is how God guided the contents of The Treasure Map and this true healing being birthed into consciousness. Funnily, when I was putting it together I asked Him if I could allow Him to be the author of this work. He told me no, that The Treasure Map was His gift to me from all of the cleaning up of fear, undoing of the ego that I had done. He then guided me to here:

T-19.I.11. Faith is the gift of God, through Him Whom God has given you.

I had the gift that Jesus spoke of all those decades ago. FAITH is how you truly forgive.

The holy instant does not know the past, for the past belongs to time, which is the domain of ego thinking. And there is no one left out in the holy instant, for it knows Oneness, not separateness. All those you have loved and lost can be found in the right mind. When I was losing someone close to me, I mentally dug deep to truly forgive everything between us so that I could hold onto the right mind when it was time for them to lay their body aside. This allowed me to skip the grieving process, which belongs to the ego-mind of separation, and still to this day, whilst I do not have their body in my sight, I can feel them from within. For we are always connected. But you must have truly forgiven everything between you to have this. This is what all relationships must be used for, to truly forgive those ancient wounds that keep you suffering in the dark. 

Many decades ago I met a man I fell in love with immediately. It seemed to be a spell across my mind. When he left me, the pain I experienced was excruciating. I could not understand why this wound cut deep. It was then that God was whispering to me that I had known him from a past life and this wound had now risen to be truly healed. This one Truforgiveness opportunity spread across many different decades of my life. It took me right into hell. Had I stayed there I would have surely died. Because I learned how to truly forgive to truly heal by the process of FAITH this darkness disturbed allowed me to locate the right mind that knows of peace and love. How did I do this? I truly forgave him, which lead to me truly forgiving myself and remembering, innocence is true not the guilt of sin.

Utilize those special relationships whilst they are there to truly heal and you will give up the darkness to discover the light - you are the wholeness of holiness, Perfect Love, so complete that fear cannot enter. It is not enough to say these words, you must find this truth for yourself. And by following the process of FAITH granted by God you will come to know this via revelation and not ego interpretation.
